Condemning the assault and humiliation of freedom fighters by the Jamaat-controlled, unconstitutional interim government, Awami League President and five-time Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina declared that she would send the 1971 razakars and their associates to Pakistan.
In a virtual discussion on Thursday, she stated: “Those who bravely fought for our nationโs independence are now shackled and scorned, while those who betrayed our peopleโabducting women, massacring youths, and torching villages in collaboration with the Pakistani Armyโare being celebrated with floral garlands.”

She continued: “Who are these elements? They do not believe in Bangladeshโs independence.
โIf Allah grants me the opportunity, I will send them all to Karachi by the Arabian Sea on ships.

โEven the Pakistani government may hesitate to accept them, as these razakars are nothing but frauds and troublemakers.”
The daughter of Bangabandhu, Sheikh Hasina, emphasised that there is no place for these pro-Pakistani elements in Bangladesh.

Azharโs acquittal: Awami League terms it dark, disgraceful chapter in history
Condemning the destruction of Bangabandhuโs residence-turned-museum at Dhanmondi-32 and the planned demolition of his mausoleum in Tungipara, Gopalganj, she remarked: โOne swallow does not make a summer. They should remember this proverb.
โI will not forget the insults they have inflicted, and I will hold them accountable with the utmost severity.โ
She said that hundreds of party leaders and workers have been killed, over 4,00,000 arrested, and around 80,000 cases filed.
โNow we cannot stay at home. Our houses are being burned to ashes. Our leaders, workers, and their family members are being brutally killed.โ

She said that Yunus has ordered the filing of as many false and fictitious cases against Awami League leaders and activists as possible, regardless of the outcome. They are doing it to harass and terrorise people.
She mentioned that the regimes of General Ayub Khan, General Ziaur Rahman, General HM Ershad, and Khaleda Zia had tortured the Awami League leaders and activists, but they failed to eliminate this party of the people.
They will never be successful, Sheikh Hasina added.
