Awami League President and five-time Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has warned Muhammad Yunus, BNP, and Jamaat of dire consequences. โEveryone’s appearance should be remembered; no one will be exempt. All of them will be brought to book. Their mob terror will be answered, too,โ she said during a virtual discussion.
The Yunus gang has made a huge amount of money and property. This money will be given to the people whose houses have been burned, destroyed, and looted as compensation. โMay Allah grant that day; just pray for that. I am with you, with the people of the country.
โYunus and his advisers will flee the country. But where will those who are in the country go? Where will these terrorists go? They will be judged one day,โ she added.
Yunus and his advisers have foreign citizenship. About 60% of the advisers he hired are foreign nationals. โYunus has a passport in Bangladesh, but we know that he is a citizen of a foreign country. He has invested all the money abroad, not in Bangladesh. He has done nothing for the people in Bangladesh.โ

The daughter of Bangabandhu stated that the current situation in Bangladesh has deteriorated to the point where it resembles a slaughterhouse. Every family everywhere is attacked, looted, and tortured. Many members of the Jamaat hold positions within the administration, while the BNP is actively involved in looting and attacking Awami League workers.
โThe BNP will exist if there is the Awami League. The BNP would not exist without the Awami League. The BNP should understand this. I don’t know what the BNP thought. They seem to have seen the five legs of a snake. They are jumping in joy and causing one incident after another. They work in tandem with Jamaat, who are fond of killing.
โWe wanted to bring a democratic trend. From 2009 to 2024, the democratic trend continued in Bangladesh. But Yunus came to power completely undemocratically and illegally by violating the Constitution and committing fraud. The opinion of that Appellate Division is also a lie. The photo of my resignation is a lie. The photo of me writing the letter is also a lie. These are all fake claims. They captured power by spreading false information and rumours and then started annihilating the Awami League leaders and activists.โ
She said: โYunus will make more money. But why is he taking so many people’s lives? Why attack people like this? One after another, human rights violations occur, and we bear all the blame. He is claiming internationally everywhere that the Awami League has done these things.
โHe has money. He is stealing money from Bangladesh. He made crores of takas and spent that money on various international media. He made a movie, and then Shahidul [Alam] made a short film and showed it in the universities. They are showing all lies.

โWe did not commit all the murders, starting with Abu Sayed and Mugdho. Yunus carried out all these killings according to his plan. However, we bear the blame. Those who are responsible for such incidents have been given immunity. There is no judgment against them, no complaintsโฆand no one can do anything. This is his rule.โ
She said that Yunus has stashed immense wealth in the country and abroad and is working to eliminate the Awami League. โWhat is their future after that? That is my question. The Awami League has been banned. Awami League will not be allowed to do politics. Chhatra League has been banned.
โWhat is our crime? Is it a crime to liberate the country, develop it, make it a developing country, and reduce the poverty rate?
โWill Yunus’s microcredit business be limited to reducing the poverty rate? This is why the poverty rate has increased again, the per capita income of people has decreased, and the prices of all goods have gone up. Prices of rice, dal, oil, salt, curry, fish, and meat have increased.

She stated that this illegitimate government is only capable of killing people because it seized power through violence. Yunus started killing people in a planned way from July 15, 2024, as part of his meticulous design.
โThe truth has come out. It cannot be held back. A coordinator of Yunus, who is a leader of his NCP party, has testified in the International Crimes Tribunal that he had asked Yunus to form the government on August 4. I was the head of government elected by the people. What was the reason for asking another person to form a government in that way by violating the constitution and sovereignty?โ
Regarding the trials at the International Crimes Tribunal, she said: โThey are torturing and intimidating many people, including Major General Ziaul Ahsan and the policeโs former IGP Abdulah Al Mamun, to testify against me.
“However, there is no need to arrange for a witness to testify against me. Abu Sayedโs father has revealed everything. I did not kill Abu Sayed, but Yunus killed him using his mastermind as part of his meticulous design. Despite receiving numerous lessons, Abu Sayed’s father informed the court that his son had sustained a head wound. But the whole world saw that Abu Sayed was shot in the chest. His whole body was covered with rubber bullets. But there is no metal bullet. The police did not use such weapons. Instead, the students threw stones at the police, and a brick hit the back of Abu Sayedโs head and cut off his head. What will Yunus say now? These are his arranged dramas.โ
Sheikh Hasina said that Yunus is a terrorist, militant, corrupt, money embezzler, and is imposing his responsibility on countless Awami League leaders and activists. He is torturing the Awami League activists one after another.

“Yunus is an embezzler of workers’ money, a man convicted in the labour court. The ACC had six cases against him. But he cancelled all the cases through executive orders. The tax evasion case, which was scheduled to be judged on August 6, has been withdrawn. He follows no rules, laws, or courts; nothing.โ
Sheikh Hasina said: โPartisanship is everywhere: officials of the Election Commission, Anti-Corruption Commission, Public Service Commission, and High Court have been forced by militants to resign, and party-nominated people have been installed there.
โToday, the air of Bangladesh is filled with the tears of children who have lost their mothers, wives crying for their husbands, children crying for their fathers, brothers for their brothers, sisters for their brothers, and brothers crying for their sisters. This is happening in Bangladesh. How many more people will suffer?
โI tell the people of the country to stand against them in any way you can. Everyone should protest. All must be united. Then you will be free from this misrule.
