Midnight Election: 244% voter turnout in Rajshahi-4 constituency

The so-called “election” and referendum orchestrated by Muhammad Yunus were nothing short of a grotesque farce, a shameless mockery of democracy engineered to rubber-stamp his regime’s power grab.

In the Rajshahi-4 constituency, the naked fraud is impossible to hide. There are only 319,909 registered voters, yet the Election Commission (EC) shamelessly proclaimed 781,523 votes cast.

That’s a laughable 244.30% turnoutโ€”more than double the actual number of people who could even show up.

Among these fabricated ballots, a pathetic 145,382 supposedly voted “Yes” for Yunus’ rigged reform package, while 612,229 allegedly said “No.”

After midnight ballot stumping, many could not cast their votes Thursday

Jamaat candidate Abdul Bari Sardar was declared the winner from this constituency. He defeated BNP contender Ziaur Rahman.

But who are they kidding? These numbers weren’t cast by real voters; they were printed, inflated, and stuffed by Yunus’ cronies to manufacture the illusion of legitimacy.

This isn’t some minor “irregularity”โ€”it’s the deliberate burial of any remaining shred of democratic decency.

Yunus’ entire process reeks of meticulous manipulation: stage-managed polling, pre-cooked results, and blatant vote-rigging on a massive scale. What kind of “reform” needs ghost voters outnumbering real citizens by more than two-to-one to pass?

The impossible has become routine under Yunus’s illegal interim rule. This isn’t democracy rebornโ€”it’s democracy strangled, replaced by a dictator’s desperate attempt to legitimise his grip through cooked books and phantom ballots. Shame on anyone who dares call this a fair process. It’s theft, pure and simple, and the people of Bangladesh deserve far better than this transparent scam.
