Awami League’s Korea unit slams Yunus for mobocracy, misrule

The South Korea chapter of the Bangladesh Awami League has observed the partyโ€™s 76th founding anniversary and vowed to bring the party to power for the welfare of the country.

They cut cakes and offered prayers at a program on the bank of the Han River in Seoul on June 23.

Among others, Awami League leaders Hossain Tofazzzel Ronu, David Ekram, and Monowar Hossain Manik were present at the event.

They condemned the ban on the party, saying that there would be no politics without the Awami League, which helped the birth of Bangladesh. People have now realised that they were fooled with false promises and propaganda against the Awami League.

The leaders said Westโ€™s puppet Muhammad Yunus captured power through a meticulously designed movement with the help of jihadists and terrorists. There is no democracy; rather, the interim government has established a mobocracy in the country.

They said the Yunus Gang wanted to assassinate Awami League President and five-time Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, but failed.

They urged the party leaders and workers from every corner of the world to unite and overthrow the fascist interim government under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina.

Custodial death: 27 Awami League leaders, activists killed in 10 months

The Awami League has been observing a month-long protest programme, starting from June 16, demanding the resignation of the government. Protest marches will be held at all organisational district levels on July 1 and at upazila and union levels on July 16.

Awami League President and Bangabandhuโ€™s daughter,ย Sheikh Hasina, expressed heartfelt gratitude to party leaders and activists for the successful implementation of the protest programme, overcoming the brutal repression, torture, and extreme obstacles imposed by the illegal fascist occupying Yunus regime.

Sheikh Hasina said that there is no form of state terror that is not being used. Rather, new and inhumane methods of cruelty are being inflicted daily.

She issued a stern warning against the anti-national and anti-people regime and its collaborators. They will face justice on the soil of Bangladesh for the extreme injustices and persecution against the Awami League.

Sheikh Hasina also deplored that Awami League leaders and activists are being arrested, sued, and having their homes looted. The police are failing to act against killers and looters, instead targeting Awami League members.

She said that the party has collected the names of 474 deceased leaders and activists.

At least 137,000 Awami League leaders, activists, journalists, intellectuals, professionals, and freedom fighters are currently in prison, according to Sheikh Hasina.

Approximately 80,000 cases naming over 5,00,000 leaders and activists have been filed, a โ€œworld recordโ€ by Yunus.
