Yunus regime removes Bangabandhu from new banknotes

The Jamaat-controlled interim government, led by Western puppet Muhammad Yunus, has shown its utmost hatred against the countryโ€™s Liberation War, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the Awami League after capturing power last year.

They destroyed the symbols and museums of the war, Bangali heritage and killed hundreds of workers of the Awami League. Party president and Bangabandhu’s daughter, Sheikh Hasina, had to leave the country at the onset of the anarchy.

Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahmanโ€™s sculptures have been destroyed across the country and his historic residence in Dhanmondi 32 was destroyed under state patronage.

In its latest move, Bangladesh Bank on Sunday revealed the photos of new banknotes of Tk500, Tk200, Tk100, Tk10, Tk5 and Tk2, with the theme of โ€œHistoric and Archaeological Architecture of Bangladesh.โ€
