Bangladesh Awami League has strongly condemned the planned slander, defamation, and propaganda campaign against party President Sheikh Hasina through the legacy media and social media handles managed by the Jamaat-controlled Yunus-led illegal interim government.
In a statement issued on May 31, General Secretary Obaidul Quader said the fascist government has no ground under its feet. They have no constitutional or moral basis to remain in power.
They have no mandate from the people. To seize power, they misled the people by spreading lies, and now they are trying to cling to power. However, as the days go by, all their conspiracies and failures are coming to the fore one after another.
On the other hand, the people of Bangladesh are reiterating their trust in Sheikh Hasina, he said.
โTo remain in power at any cost, they are irrationally opposing the friendly neighboring country, India. They are trying to mislead the people by spreading false propaganda against the Awami League and Sheikh Hasina.
โNo one will be misled by this false propaganda produced by the illegal government. People’s pure emotions and feelings towards Sheikh Hasina signify another glorious homecoming of Bangabandhu’s daughter.
โHer politics and action plans are to improve the living standards of the people and turn Bangladesh into a developed and prosperous state.โ
In the statement, he said the Bengalis defeated the Pakistani occupying forces through the great Liberation War under the undisputed leadership of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Quader said the Awami League will win against the gangs of fascists and militant gangs of Yunus under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina.
