A government-issued pistol belonging to a police Sub-Inspector (SI) was snatched while he was on duty in Narayanganj, creating concern in the area.
According to sources, the incident occurred while the SI was performing his official duties, when miscreants snatched the pistol from him and fled the scene. Following the incident, police launched an immediate investigation and began operations to recover the weapon.
Police officials said that search operations have been intensified in the surrounding areas to track down the suspects. Efforts are underway to identify and arrest those involved in the incident.
