Attack on Palashbari Police Station: OC Among 7 Officers Injured, Allegations Against Jubo Jamaat Activists

An attack on police officers inside Palashbari Police Station has been reported, with allegations brought against several activists of the Upazila Jubo Jamaat. At least seven police members, including Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sarowar Alam Khan, were injured in the incident.

According to local sources, tensions escalated over an incident, after which a group of individuals entered the police station and launched a sudden attack on the officers. OC Sarowar Alam Khan and several other police personnel were injured.

The injured officers were quickly rescued and taken to the Upazila Health Complex for treatment. Doctors said that while some of the injured are in serious condition, all are receiving necessary medical care.

Police officials stated that efforts are underway to identify those involved in the attack, and legal action will be taken against those responsible. The situation in the area remains tense, and additional police forces have been deployed to maintain order.

Meanwhile, no immediate statement has been received from the accused individuals. Local residents have called for swift action to bring those responsible to justice and restore normalcy in the area.
