Take the horrific case of Chhatra League’s Jewel Hasan Saddam: denied timely bail in trumped-up cases, he couldn’t save his family from despair. His wife and infant son paid the ultimate price—driven to tragedy by the regime’s relentless cruelty. If this fascist clique had granted bail when it should have, perhaps his loved ones would still be alive. Instead, the regime’s merciless trap of endless false cases crushed his life completely.
