The despicable National Citizen Party (NCP)\u2014that pathetic brainchild of Jamaat-backed Muhammad Yunus and his Islamist cronies\u2014has once again exposed its true fascist face. In a shameless display of arrogance and thuggery during the Dhaka-8 by-election farce on Thursday, NCP thug Nasiruddin Patwary spewed vile threats against the BNP, vowing to wipe it off the map of Bangladesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an emergency press conference that reeked of desperation, this Jamaat-aligned goon ranted that if “vote robbery” occurred in his favour, the former leader of Islami Chhatra Shibir would smash Mirza Abbas<\/a>‘s “kingdom” to pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He boasted: “Whether we win or lose, we will annihilate the so-called BNP party from Bangladesh forever.” This isn’t politics\u2014it’s outright terrorism wrapped in electoral whining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incident stemmed from Patwary’s own disruptive antics at polling centres like Railway Colony High School, where he and his mob barged in, only to face chants of “fake, fake” from locals fed up with their interference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the situation turned chaotic, the army had to step in to rescue the troublemaker himself\u2014after he allegedly got roughed up while trying to sabotage the process. Patwary, predictably, cried victim, claiming attacks on his head right in front of soldiers, then spun it into wild accusations of BNP-orchestrated “vote heists” and assaults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He whined about “high-risk” centres like Railway Colony High School and Mirza Abbas Women’s College supposedly being turned into festival grounds for rigging\u2014pure projection from a party desperate to cover its own failures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turning his venom directly at Mirza Abbas, Patwary sneered: “If you’re scared of losing, Mirza Abbas, stay out of the game. Don’t sabotage the vote. Many have sacrificed their lives for democracy.” The hypocrisy is staggering\u2014coming from a Jamaat-puppet outfit that thrives on intimidation and chaos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Patwary even threatened retaliation: “We didn’t want to hit back before, but if you come at us, you’ll get beaten this time.” He declared it “time for resistance,” promising to dismantle BNP’s influence brick by brick if things didn’t go his way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, seasoned BNP leader Mirza Abbas had already warned days earlier about expected centre seizures and rigging plots by Jamaat-Shibir thugs and these NCP opportunists\u2014armed goons holed up in messes, ready to unleash violence. His fears proved spot-on as clashes erupted, with NCP’s disruptive presence fueling the tension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
