Chhatra League leader Dola Chowdhury was gang-raped by 12 people linked to the local BNP-Jamaat at her house in Feni on the night of August 6, a day after the fall of the Awami League government through the July conspiracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, they tortured her body with iron rods and a spatula. When she fell unconscious, the attackers left the house, assuming that she had died.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The criminals also hindered the rescuers during her transport to Dhaka, where she sought further treatment. They then transported her to the Noakhali Government Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n

Sharing the story of her barbaric torture at a\u00a0live program<\/a>, Dola described how she had worked for the welfare of the poor students of 18 departments, built a mosque at the college, and served the common people during the Covid-19 lockdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dola is the daughter of a freedom fighter, Feni Government College student, and the organizing secretary of the district unit of Chhatra League.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Awami League President and former prime minister Sheikh Hasina said these culprits are the successors of Pakistani military ruler Yahya Khan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI could not imagine that my party supporters would be tortured this way. They tortured you like the Pakistani <\/a>occupation army.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou are like my daughter. Have patience. Consider it a terrible dream. Be strong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI will teach them a lesson. I will ensure justice. No one will be spared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
