Criminals stabbed Shah Faizur Rahman Rubel, a hardware businessman in Moulvibazar city, to death on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was the owner of F Rahman Trading and Sodaipati Market on Shamshernagar Road.<\/p>\n\n\n

Rubel<\/a> came under attack at his business establishment by some BNP-backed criminals for refusing to pay money as per their demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Local CNG auto-rickshaw drivers rescued him and took him to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The doctor on duty provided him with primary treatment and referred him to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, where he succumbed to injuries around 9:30pm on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rubel hails from Gobindapur village of Kadipur Union of Kulaura Upazila.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officer-in-Charge of Moulvibazar model police station Gazi Mahbubur Rahman said that they had no idea about the reason for the murder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
